The Pumpkin Post was born from my personal passion for creating stunning curb appeal and my deep-seated understanding of what makes a great presentation.
My journey here didn't start with professional pumpkin decorating, but with pages. For years, I worked as a Publishing Executive, spending my days in the fast-paced world of media. That experience gave me a keen eye for detail, taught me the importance of meeting deadlines, and showed me how to craft truly engaging, high-quality content.
That expertise found a new outlet when I decided to start Decorate with Lights, a successful Holiday Lighting and Exterior Decorating business. This ignited a new love—transforming the exterior of residential and commercial spaces through professional, elegant outdoor design services.
I quickly recognized that homeowners wanted that same level of sophisticated, professional service for the autumn season. Leveraging my organizational rigor from publishing and the design excellence from my lighting business, I created The Pumpkin Post.
